Shindar believes every care home should feel like a true home-from-home, somewhere she herself would want to stay. She also believes in leading with purpose, offering superior care to residents and supporting colleagues. With immense drive and passion, she opened her first home in 1988, carefully selecting the location, securing funding, overseeing construction, and recruiting the right team, a successful approach she has repeated four times.
Amrit Sumal
Managing Director
Managing director Amrit is a highly accomplished care sector leader with extensive experience spanning nursing, residential, and complex care services. Driven by a passion for elevating care standards at every level, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centred support to individuals of all ages.
Amrit oversees the operations and strategic development of the Group's four care homes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant services for both younger and older people. Her leadership is marked by a commitment to operational excellence, staff development, and the continual enhancement of resident outcomes.
She is a respected champion for continuous professional development, recognising the critical importance of ongoing training and education in maintaining excellence in care delivery.
Kam Kullar
Property & Finance Director
Kam began her professional journey in the construction industry, qualifying first as a Quantity Surveyor before becoming a Chartered Surveyor. Over the past 25 years, she has successfully managed numerous high-value construction projects.
A few years ago, Kam joined the family business and now proudly serves as Director at Superior Care, while continuing to dedicate half of her time to the construction sector. In her role at Superior Care, she oversees the finances and property management of the company’s four-home portfolio and focuses on building strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders and partners across the community.

Regional Manager
With over 30 years of experience as a home manager, Kim has developed a wealth of knowledge and leadership expertise. She joined Superior Care four years ago and was promoted to Area Manager two years later. She remains deeply passionate about training and development, ensuring staff are supported to thrive.
